Under new and dynamic leadership, with a focused and progressive mandate, FNUniv is seeking a Director of Communications to assume the responsibilities of leading and developing a national communications strategy through traditional communication methods as well as web and social media. This role provides variety and scope to excite and satisfy a career-minded and experienced communications professional. 

Reporting into the Executive Director, Community Relations, the successful candidate will be a highly respected communications executive who is passionate about the goals and objectives of the University. Influencing and strengthening the University’s image and goals through effective and innovative community and public relations, the Director will also manage key messaging and consistency around marketing, branding, and advertising.  The Director will work closely with local and national media, develop and implement donor and alumni relations strategies and coordinate special events and fundraising.   

This role will appeal to an energetic individual who is ready and able to embrace challenge, manage multiple projects and demonstrate sound judgement and decision-making skills. Working closely with and actively supporting the President and other senior administrators, the Director oversees the development of all reports, publications, and correspondence on behalf of the University.
